Infomercials you didn't resist? I admit Eggies got ME

the only "as seen on tv" something i have is a Magic Bullet. That thing works pretty well most of the time, although the blender attachment leaks, and so i can't really use the juicer part, either. but not a huge deal. i did use it a lot for the first few years we had it, but i haven't used it lately.

As for Eggies, I don't eat hard boiled eggs very often. Most of the time we hard boil eggs, we make deviled eggs. My mom is a collector of deviled egg plates, and we tend to bring them to potlucks. I'm not a fan of the flat tops created by Eggies, and I don't think they'd be very pretty for deviled eggs.

Cool! Did you order from the thread link? My shipments get messed up here so I was hoping to find them local, but I've been on the Eggie phone order line a few times but hang up each time...I'm afraid they'll get sent to parts unknown like so many other packages.

Halfwaynowhere, I wondered about the flat deviled eggs results, but I figure if I'm fixing them for others they better not complain!

(In my mind, the flat top wouldn't be an issue since deviled eggs have flat tops anyway, just maybe getting the yolk out or it being too close to one side, but that happens with eggs boiled in the shell, too. We shall see!)

I could not resist the Nu-Wave oven and the Magic Bullet. I have had my Magic Bullet for 4-1/2 years. We used the crap outta the Nu-Wave oven, used it almost every day for 2-1/2 years. I wore it out. We needed a new one, and I went for the Flavor Wave oven this time. It's not NEARLY as good. It's messier to clean up, is a lot heavier, and it is not nearly as good. In the next couple of months, I'll be giving away this nearly-new Flavor Wave and will be re-investing in a new Nu-Wave oven. It's amazing how two similar products can function so similarly yet have such vastly different results and ease of use.

I *highly* recommend the Nu-Wave. It was the best investment of $125 I ever made in my life. Seriously.

Did you order from the link above or by phone? Where did you get these options, on the website or with a person? There was a POACHER eggie??? That's what I want!

Not that this has anything to do with As Seen On TV stuff, but my mother still has an Electrolux vacuum cleaner from the 60's and it works fantastic! Amazing how back then they actually made things to last, before realizing they'd make much more money if they designed them to die sooner.

Oooh, I loved the veg-o-matic...mine got lost in a move.

For years I've had a ronco show grill and love that, too...something fascinating about those whole chickens rotating on the spit, lol.

I was wondering if she ordered from the thread link, too, and they do show the poacher eggie on the infomercial.
