Hi guys

A random chick waltz into my work last night and ive now got it in my care. Im guessing its about 4 weeks old based on the amount of feathering it has but id like to know the sex if its possible at this age. im suspecting it was a dumped roo since its a big problem here but honestly i have no idea.

Also if anyone might be knowledgable of breed that would be good too. Australorps are popular here so thats my guess

Uneducated guess, but I would NOT buy that if it were labeled pullet lol. Quite pink for its size...
Right? Lol with our 32 straight run Black Australorps nearly all had big pink combs around 3-4 weeks. Had one that we knew for certain at 2 lol even had one try to crow at 3 lol I've found the BAs with single combs are much easier to tell earlier

Probably 3-4 weeks, possibly a Australorp, but I'm familiar with those and if so if definitely suspect a roo. Poor baby.

Eta: I say 3-4 due to a fluffy head still lol and he's in that between ugly stage lol

But maybe someone else knows more breeds? Lol
Thank you. I was really hoping i was wrong because then i could have kept it
