Ingrown duck feathers

We rescued 2 ducklings. Their feathers are almost all grown in and yesterday while my drake (I think) was swimming I noticed a big bump on his shoulder area. Looks like he has ingrown feathers. How much is this to fix and do you have to fix it or will it fix itself? Thanks so much
