I have a one year old Rhode Island red that got away from some hawks that took 5 of my other hens. She lost her feathers on her breast area and she seems to have a injured leg. The rest of the flock have not bothered her and she is eating and drinking. How long will it take for her to grow her feathers back? And do you think she will lay again?
