Injured Canada Goose. What should I do?

Pics
I just wanted to update on the gosling that was attacked. It's still doing well and seems to have made a full recovery. The worst place on the back of the neck is still visible but it seems to be healed. Their wings are starting to feather in and they're just so adorable with their big lanky selves ❤️ Gosh I love goslings! Yesterday morning I went out with feed and called the babies. Of course they came running. It was the 6 first with the 2 close behind. Then I noticed another little group of 5 more goslings! So for Friday the 13th, I had 13 goslings here💜 Gooslyn was also here so a wonderful Friday the 13th for me! Unfortunately one of the Mallard hens showed herself yesterday, with one duckling in tow. I'm pretty sure this same hen had 8 ducklings before but she's not a very attentive mother to say the least 😞 One more Mallard hen has a nest somewhere and I believe they're due to hatch this next week. My Call Duck just hatched 6 adorable little Calls and my Buff Duck is on a hidden nest that I can't get to. Such precious baby waterfowl all over 💜

Wonderful update. Thanks. Now we need pictures!
Has your Buff Duck ever went broody? I was really surprised that Tom, a hatchery Buff Duck, went broody. I noticed she made a nest under my porch steps, so I slipped her some eggs thinking she'd never actually sit. In the beginning she would sit all night and the next day but the next night she wanted to go to the duck house with her flock. This happened for the first week so the eggs might not even be viable at this point but she's been a wonderful broody ever since that first week ❤️ She's kicked out 3 eggs and has moved her nest 3 or 4 times (staying under the porch) so I have no idea what's going on. To keep her safe, I closed in all around the porch except for one small opening for her to come and go. This was at 1am the first night she decided to sit, so I wasn't thinking about being able to get to her nest 🤦🏻‍♀️

I think she's got about a week left but I need to go back and count from the day she started sitting full time 💜 I'm thinking about removing some boards on the porch so I can figure out what's going on 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'd hate to stress her and cause her to abandon the nest this far along though.

Here's a picture of the newest goslings (they're also the youngest out of the 3 families by probably around a week). It's so crazy how quickly the babies learn the way things are done here. Birds amaze me every single day. These parents aren't as quick to trust but they'll follow me around and they know the feed bucket. They're getting better with being in close proximity to me, but I don't push it. I'm sure it's already stressful enough keeping up with 5 babies, keeping others away from them, and just taking care if them in general. I certainly don't want to add to that. I'm confident they'll come around with time and if not, that's OK too.

All 3 families walk over here together in the morning. The newest family (pictured above) stays until right at dark before they head back while Goosie and Gander and Mama and Papa head back around 5 or 6pm. They act like they HATE each other all day. They get along perfectly for their travels to and from 🤷🏻‍♀️

Aren't they funny. Love that picture what a beautiful place you have. Is that a duck house back there at the water? They are blessed to have you care for them.
Those babies are precious. They sure do grow fast.
Yes, that's the duck house for my big ducks. It was put way down at the pond because they did free range and spend the majority of their day on the pond years back. Now they just sleep in their house and I carry them to and from my fenced in yard so they're better protected. They have a large pool but I know it's not the same as a pond. I love to watch them dive in the pond. It's like they're different ducks when free on the pond 💜
