Injured Canada Goose. What should I do?

One of the goslings has also been attacked since yesterday afternoon. Poor thing has injuries to its face and neck 😭

Aww any idea who is doing this? Is this gosling with its cr parents?
No idea. This gosling is one of two with its parents. There is another pair with 6 goslings. They travel by foot across the road every night and come back in the morning to spend their days here. All of the geese that visit here are pretty terrified of both sets of parents, I imagine this little one wasn't paying attention and got separated or something. He was acting a little better this evening and after a day of swimming, he looked a bit better. Here's hoping he's back tomorrow and acting like he usually does ❤️

A recording from Friday evening. The gosling looks a little bit better, but only time will tell. I hope to see him tomorrow and decide if intervention (phone call to CWF) is necessary. @Miss Lydia I think you're correct about the injuries to Gooslyn. I suspect the gosling suffered the same. It's odd how similar the facial wounds on Gooslyn and the gosling look. As far as the goslings go, I've seen the parent pairs bite any baby that tried to mingle with theirs. These goslings are only a couple of days difference in age from each other. The even crazier part is that the 2 families walk across the road and back with each other. Gaggle dynamics are way over my head!

Side note: the 6 goslings hatched here and they are much less scared of me than the other 2 older goslings. Goosie and Gander are the parents to the 6 and I've been calling the other 2 "Mama and Papa". <I'm so original in coming up with names, aren't I? 😂> Mama Goose and Papa Goose are much more friendly than Goosie and Gander 🤷🏻‍♀️

Seems they want to stay togehter[safety in numbers] but don't cross that invisible line and try and mingle. They are so precious you really are blessed to have a place where you can interact. We had 2 Canadas nesting in our river and last Sunday she was sitting very calmly on her nest then Thursday she and her mate are gone and looks like the nest got raided. They would have hatched next week :(
I hope the little one will be okay today. Did you get the string off the one that was injured?

I carried around the supplies to remove the string for a while but the Goose either ended up getting it removed elsewhere or moved on.
