Injured chick just found

You are doing excellent. Do you have a heating pad. A heating pad, made into a cave, can give it a snuggly place to stay warm. It needs to be low enough so the chick can touch its back to it, when inside the cave.

My heat pad only goes from 113 then 130 degrees. I’m afraid to overheat it, as I believe that happened to another chick I tried to save as well… I had it set at 130 and lined it with washcloths and socks but when I had come back to check on the chick, it passed away. I believe it was due to too much heat. It was doing so well before that. Now I am just using a heated furry. sock with rice in .
