Injured duck - can't keep it's head up

Yes, vets can be very expensive. A lot of us can't afford them so we learn how to treat at home.

Do you have access to electrolyte solution? Sugar water is alright, but she will need the extra.

Like @Jenbirdee said, make a mash with her food, mixing it with water until you get a loose paste.

Give her time for the neck. Perhaps help support it during the day with an inflatable or stuffed ring around it, removing it at night so she can sleep better.

Right now, what she needs most is a stress-free and quiet environment to help her recover.

Where are you located, if you don't mind my asking?

You can make a “sling “ with a laundry basket and some cloth maybe to somehow support her neck. . I think there ares videos I’ll look for one and post it after I’m done locking up out here . ( it’s sunset at my place)

I’ve heard that sound before but don’t really know exactly what they’re trying to say. I think they’re just making some noise . as better than not making any sound I think. What a beautiful duck.
Thank you!! I am just worried. I appreciate your help.

Thank you! Blossom is super pretty for sure! 😁😁
