Injured duck from animal attack, help!

Still poops but yuck beyond yuck! Such a stench... antibiotics? Not much so far but some dribbles and one good shot. Vet says can't eat her eggs anymore. Antibiotics. Bummer.

Duck splats are always rather barf inducing, LOL. Good news.

I also have an injured duck in the house. Daily cleanings are the only thing that keeps my house inhabitable.

This stench is different. Really awful! She stays indoors at night anyway so I am familiar with normal duck poops. She was getting pretty good at getting out the door before she went- in the am when we let her out. She a good girl. House duck!

What wrong with your duck?

Mink attack that left her with puncture wounds at the base of her skull and thigh trauma. Due to the cold temps on the night she spent out there with a useless leg before I found her, she lost her foot to frostbite and is probably a permanent house duck now. Love my sweet Chrissy!

Pics of my silly girl, hope you don't mind:

Hmm, funny. Never used antibiotics so I'm not familiar with that.

Shoulda added, she lost her buddies in the attack so she's a single ducky now... Poor gal.

She's beautiful! Sorry for the minks incident. They are a problem here too. Coworker lost a whole flock to them. What can u do for a frostbitten foot?
