Injured duck help

Yes you are right! Crazy me looked at the wrong thing! The calcium percentage is the same as the chart posted above.
Okay, good, thanks for verifying that info! Good news is the calcium percentage is okay for him.

I think your Cayuga will heal, it just may take some time. He's your pet and can live a good long life. I have had a few of my Runners come up with a limp and having a hard time walking I put Nutritional yeast on their feed and give them time to heal and they do. Ducks that are dual purpose or meant for just laying eggs can still be classified as pets that is probably what most are sold as now since they have become so popular. https://www.raising-ducks.com/duck-breed-guide/cayuga-duck/

During nap time today, he somehow made it from the back of the yard to the porch. When I checked on him, he still didn’t want to use the leg though.
Can you make a hospital cage for him to keep him from moving around too much?

Are you going to try and pen him up for a while so he can rest his leg? Plus he’ll eventually have his wings bloody using them to help him get around. @DuckyDonna what was that lineament you got at TSC? @DuckyBabies do you have any DMSO in gel?
