Well she's not doing much of anything right now. She's extremely injured from an eagle attack. Her entire back is ripped open exposing bones and muscle but nothing extremely deep. I'm treating it with silver wound spray and giving her electrolytes and vitamins as well as an antibiotic. She seems to be doing all right for now. We'll just have to see how it goes. My question is this: she's not laying anymore and she used to lay everyday, so could she be eggbound? Or can I expect her to stop laying because of her injuries?

Welcome to BYC!

Shock and fear will cause them to stop laying, often for a month or two if it was a really bad shock.

It sounds like you're doing duck care right, but I will ask what antibiotic you're using. Have you consulted a vet? If not, have you made sure of the dosage?

If you're keeping her penned (I would if it were me) letting her play in a tub with clean water for a bit might help her feel better. Little makes a duck happier than water.

I have a duck that was injured right before the pandemic started in March 2020, we thought that she was going to die, but she survived after constant care. She is now a very healthy, happy uninjured duck. She stopped laying when she got injured, but a few months after she completely healed she started laying again, she has laid consistently since then.
