Injured duck

This suddenly appeared on one of my ducks. Looks like a pellet wound. How do I care for this. Has anyone seen this anywhere else?

My Gander did just the same thing. I have no idea where he did it but I put ACV into his water bucket which I do periodically any way and his bill healed fine. 1 Tablespoon to a gal of water.

Aww, poor guy! That's nothing serious though, should heal up just fine. I'd just clean it a couple times a day and maybe apply a tiny spot of antibiotic ointment or something if you have it.
