They are five months old and I try and let them roam around every once and a while the only problem was the drake flying out and attacking them but with the whole wing clipping it should be a problem
oIt's those doggone hormones he is going to go after them because he has never done it before. He wants to make them his and that is how drakes go about it. Duck sex isn't for the faint of heart that is for sure. How old are they? Do they ever have free outside time? to me that is the best way to introduce is by letting them have an open area so the females can get away if they want. Also a pool with water makes mating so much easier on the females if there is water. Just be sure you've clipped wings first so you don't have them up and fly away. He is going to mate them quite a bit at first since they are new to his harem.
