I dont know if it is typical, but im guessing from the markings that he is a he. I have been 100% successfull guessing the sex of ducks by features. I bought 2 week-old Rouen a month ago and i picked one that looked like it might be a girl and one that looked like it might be a boy. Well, They're 6 weeks old now and i was right. I have done this 7 times and have been right 7 times. Good luck with your duckies!
