I had to do in 2 Roo's when they first started to crow because we couldn't have them.
Used a Hatchet Didn't like it and more afraid I would botch it.

I think a culling cone and non ratchet pair of clippers would be better than the cervical dislocation. I mean, I had the weight of the bird literally in my hands once she was decapitated. Didn't feel too good.

This was back when I first got chicks. I didn't have any other tool and I had a sh*tty neighbor making noise so I need to dispatch fast at least the hatchet was sharp
when I am able to have a farm that is one of the culling cones... not that I like doing it at all but, gotta roll up the sleeves if I wanna do this
