Injured Hen:(

Sounds like you are getting a handle on treating your injured hen, great job your doing! Now don't forget to get your coop predator proof. Hens can lay close to the side of a coop sleeping next to chicken wire on the coop and a raccoon ect. can pull them thru the wire. Poor young innocent new hens don't know not to do this. Place her in an enclosed area in a laying box up off the ground away from the sides of a chicken wire coop might help. Good luck with your hen! Keep us posted!

Y'all! My sweet little grace is eating!!! I was giving her water and while she was reaching down to drink I switched the water with her food and now she is chowing down!! I'm sure she is hungry! Thanks to all of you that helped @Wyorp Rock @OG Anomaly @Bagdad Chicken Mom @WildCHILD400 @Leighe and any others I forgot to mention!!

Give that coop and run A good looking through if you can fit A fist through it then A skunk, raccoon, cat, rat, opossum, or fox can get in.
Thank You! The top half of the coop is completely enclosed with a pully like door so we close it at night and make the 2 chicks that aren't injured sleep there. My little gracie and Louise are in kennels... grace is the blind one and Louise has a narely cut on her neck I'm treating!!! Thank you again!!
