**Photo is fairly graphic **
I lost 2 hens to a raccoon attack and had 1 hen survive the attack with injuries last Tuesday night. Her throat and shoulder was ripped up a bit but I was able to clean it up and use a spray on bandage recommended to me. Her eye is also hurt and I’m at a loss. It has swollen shut with what looks like a white blister forming on top. I have some animal safe antibacterial spray that was also recommended and I’ve been keeping the eye clean. The photo is from yesterday. Tonight I noticed the area around it is turning black. Any advice?

Have you given all her wounds a good cleaning either flushing with saline or soap and water? What wound spray are you using? Is it Vetericyn?

The eye appears to be infected. What you call a "blister" looks like pus to me. You need to remove the pus from her eye, then use an ophthalmic antibiotic on it.
