Yes, he's been in the pool a lot. I saw briefly saw him walk into the run and up the ramp into their house and he didn't fall over or trip or seem to be limping, so that was looking promising. Will know more when I let them have a run around the garden this weekend while I clean their bath.
 
Ok, an update on Frank - he's been confined for two weeks in their swimming/run area..and the good news is that this seems to have done the trick! Luckily Matilda decided to start sitting on her eggs, so Frank was not too bothered about being cooped up as Matilda only leaves the eggs twice a day.

So, two weeks later and this is the result (sorry, seems I hit slow-mo by mistake while filming! But gives a good idea - it was his right leg that was injured)


Thank you to everyone for your advice. Hopefully he is healed fully now, but will keep him in this area for a bit longer while Matilda is sitting - I let them out now twice a day when Matilda comes out, so they do have a bit of a run, but only for about 10 minutes before she heads back in and Frank follows. He doesn't leave the area without her.
