my 4 month old pullet appears to have injured her leg....whenever she walks she does not put her full weight on one leg....most of the time she just sits & when she first gets up or if she does stand she holds that leg up & flexs her foot....i can find no visible wounds, nor do any bones feel like they are broken or out of socket

If the leg isn't visibly twisted and you can't find a problem, it could be a pulled or torn tendon.
If she's getting around okay and you aren't worried about her leg getting deformed from her using it incorrectly, I would just wait and see if she starts using it more soon.
If she's twisting it around or putting weight on a weird place, you can splint the leg in the correct position. Try looking up threads on that.

i think you are correct....she gets around fairly well on it, though you can tell it bothers her....shes not twisting it or putting her weight on it in a weird way

in thinking back.....her & the new flock, two 4 month pullets & 8 6 week old pullets, were all foraging by the garden & something stirred them up....i went back out not more then 10 mins later 1 of the 4 month olds was making scared/distress chirp & the others were nowhere to be found....the orginal flock, two hens & a roo, all one year, where up on the porch as they have't joined into one flock yet....the pullet looked ok, just by looking at it....but it might pulled or torn her tendon then

she's eating & drinking just fine, poops normal....just have to keep her in the house during the day & let her sleep with the girls thank you for your assistance

update....not getting around to well..won't put the leg down when standing....have improvised a sling to keep her standing, so the leg stays extended, but with little to no weight on it

update....pullet is back out with the flock....still limping & sitting a lot, but i think getting around with the flock is doing her better then staying in the house....her injured leg looks normal when she does use it
