Injured meat chicken

I have a meat bird that somehow sliced a spot on her head. It isn’t super deep but does have a little bit of a flap. It caught my eye because of the dried blood on her head. I pulled her out of the tractor, cleaned it best I could and put triple antibiotic ointment on the wound. Someone told me that I have now medicated her and she will not be able to be processed for at least 30 days. Is this true?

I have an appointment with a processor in 11 days. If she is healthy and has healed can she be processed?

She has not been medicated!
You would have had to give her a course of oral antibiotics to have medicated her.
Don't change your appointment. You're fine.

Yes, if she is healthy and healed she can be processed.
The head gets cut off, anyway.

Thank you! I was starting to panic. I have her separated and in a dog crate in my garage so I can monitor her. If she starts acting sick, I will just cull her, but if I can get her healthy, I would would prefer not to lose out on the meat. Not to mention all the time and effort I have in them.
