Injured Peacock! Possibly Paralyzed?

Hello, we have kept three male peafowl together for a few years now with no hens, and no fights until yesterday, when our usually shy/submissive white mature male President Snow attacked the younger cock Midnight. We just moved about 6 months ago and have been keeping the 3 in a chicken coop and run covered with aviary netting. There are two separate runs connected to the coop, so if someone is being pestered, they usually just go inside or go to the smaller side. They have also been living with a small flock of hens that completely ignore them, but I bet with it being spring, the hormones just took over. The poor boy has a gash on his side and cannot walk, stand, or properly balance himself. We moved him to a crate blocked off from the other birds. Any suggestions on how to help him heal? I do not know the extent of the injury internally but perhaps his inability to stand/balance is due to head trauma caused by President Snow tearing his crown. We did not see the initial fight but by the time we intervened, Midnight was already on the ground. My major fear is that he might be paralyzed.

Does anyone know if the location of the injury being above his leg could be the cause of his not being able to stand?

I do not know anything about peafowl either but additionally to the injury the poor thing might have suffered a severe shock.

Did you already clean the wound and sprayed with disinfectant/antibiotic?

The wounded tissue will swell quite a bit and thus compress the sciatic nerve for a few days.
Usually it will take about 4-5 days for the swelling to go down, depending on the severity of the lesion.

Keep him warm on a bed of straw or pine shavings (shock) as well as food and water (maybe add some vitamin-supplement containing the important B's) within reach an hopefully he will make a full recovery within 1-2 weeks.

I cleaned the wound last night with iodine, but it has started bleeding again this morning as in the picture of him in the wire crate. Online I saw that corn starch can help coagulation and stop bleeding, would this be a good idea? I sprayed peroxide on the wound and surrounding feathers but I still do not know if the bleeding is coming from the body or the end of the wing. I will not use peroxide again as I don't want the bleeding to continue.

Thank you for your help regarding shock, I will put down some straw for him right away as well. A few years ago when one of our horses got cut and had excessive bleeding the vet told us to compress the wound with a paste of white sugar and iodine in a pad and wrap it. I think I'll try that and see if it helps.

Common tormentil would be my choice for treating the still bleeding wound as it has astringent and anti-inflammatory qualities.

Maybe you could inspect him thoroughly at night to make sure he will be o.k. without a vet.
In case the wound is gaping he might need some stitches to fix the problem.
