Injured Peacock! Possibly Paralyzed?

How is he doing today?
I don't have pics of the wound, but I think he is dying. He keeps opening his mouth looking like he is trying to push something out. He's barely moving and he closes his eyes a lot. Sometimes he twists his neck from one side to the other. Maybe we gave him pneumonia when we tried to give him water yesterday. It's also been rainy and cloudy but he's in a box with bedding. He had been getting hay stuck in his mouth yesterday so we changed it to wood chips this morning.

He is very weak.

I'm so sorry. :hugs
Thanks, all the breeders I talked to were very surprised that he would be injured so badly, even by an older male. At least I know there was nothing more I could have done to help, his injuries were so bad. Well I've also been inspired to change the way of think of my birds, to be more aware and respectful of their instincts.
