Please help?

I've got a 15 week old leg horn (I think) that's been doing fine. When I locked everyone up for the night I found her under the deck, lying limp on her side. She's got a small injury / wound behind her ear and significant bruising and swelling on one side of her face. I have no idea what happened, or how long she's been like this. We've got a mixed flock of some older hens and a rooster and 5 pullets, including this one. They've been separated at night in the coop but free range together during the day.

I've cleaned the wound, given her about a cc of poultry drench, as she weighs about 2.5 lbs, and given her several ccs of water by syringe. I've iced the bruising, but I don't know what else to do. She fights when I try to syringe her and opens her eyes and she'll occasionally smack her lips, for lack of a better description but otherwise she's totally limp and definitely holding her head wrong.

I won't be surprised if she doesn't make it through the night, but if I can do more to help, I'd like to.

She probably got injured.
Keep her separated from the flock in a warm area. A dog cage indoors is a good place.
She is probably in shock. Be careful with putting water down the "wrong pipe".
Unfortunately there isn't much else you can do. Just keep an eye on her. Btw..the ice might be causing her more stress, I would stop that.

I've just been syringing the water into the end of her break and letting her swallow it, to hopefully minimize aspiration. I've only done icing on and off, based on advice from my father in law, who's a vet, but hasn't treated chickens in decades. I'll stop. I've given her probably about 4 or 5ccs of water, as it's possible she's dehydrated from being under the deck all day in July.. I don't know how much chickens drink? It's that enough?

I've got a cat carrier for her inside. She's going there now. Poor girl.
