I’ve got a pullet who can’t bear weight on her right leg. She limped around for a day. I isolated her into a small area so she wouldn’t try and keep up with the flock. 2nd day her toes curled under (limply) and she stopped bearing weight on it. Today is day 4. When I pick her up she reacts with her healthy leg but the right leg dangles. She’s eating and drinking. No visible injuries or swelling. Any ideas?...

Can you take a short video of how she's trying to walk and upload it to YouTube?

When was the last time you brought a new to you bird home?

Yep. Looks like another victim of May's syndrome, named for a pullet of mine with those symptoms. It's not an injury most likely, but a disorder where the nerves are stripped of their sheaths and it causes pain and paralysis. Of course it could be Marek's and I haven't completely ruled it out.

I've been treating my pullets with Tylan 50, vitamin E 400iu and B vitamins. They've respond well to it albeit slowly with relapses recently that also responded again to treatment.

Here is my thread documenting symptoms and treatment in case you're curious how it compares to your pullet. https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...update-now-another-pullet-going-lame.1432738/
