So my rooster got attacked by a fox a couple days back. He’s still alive and I’ve put blue spray over all the bite marks. I’m feeding him by hand and he’s taking the food but not doing anything himself. He’s not holding his head up. My main question is, do I carry on with the love and care, feeding him etc. because he’s in shock and needs time to recover or does he have a neck injury? I’ll post photos with this. Any advice is much appreciated, I love him very much!

Give him love and make sure he eats and drinks, I am not sure how bad the injury is but you need to give him time to heal up. Considering that he is still alive makes me believe its not too serious. But still, the cut could get infected so make sure you are treating that wound.

He’s definitely a fighter. He’s shocked us all by surviving. I’m dripping water into his mouth and feeding hard boiled egg. I’ve put ‘blue spray’ on the cuts which is an antibiotic and antiseptic. I just hope he makes it
