I have she sleeps by it. I feel her leg and it does feel a little swollen above to the side of her upper leg. Maybe the slipped tendon that was mentioned. I touched it to see if it would move any and she chipped more. I don’t know what I’m doing and I know I’m gonna hurt her.Can you add a mirror in with her?
I finally soaked her in some warm epson salt water. I can see the leg better. It’s a bone out the back of her leg! I can’t pull it back into the skin myself idk what to do.I have she sleeps by it. Oh no! If I were you I would watch alot of videos and try to figure out how to do it. Look at anatomy pics of the chicken leg. If there's a scab, you'll need to reopen it and push the bone in, and then splint it. Same way that the video you posted earlier in this thread. I'll look for more videos.I finally soaked her in some warm epson salt water. I can see the leg better. It’s a bone out the back of her leg! I can’t pull it back into the skin myself idk what to do.

Slipped tendon article, may be helpful.
I don’t know if a bone can or should be placed in now a week later.Oh no! If I were you I would watch alot of videos and try to figure out how to do it. Lol at anatomy pics of the chicken leg. Worst case is amputation. There's a really good article I read through on here. I'm going to see if I can find it. You'd need to wrap the baby so it doesn't wiggle while you do this
With research and familiarity, I know you can do this!
You need to get it to a vet. It may require surgery or other work done to set the bone properly. The tendons and muscles in the leg will likely have tightened from being out of place for so long. As well as some sort of cast or brace to keep it in place once it’s set. Plus exrays to make sure that there’s only the one break. There’s also a very very high chance of infection since it’s a compound fracture.I’ve tried again with the bone but it hurts it to much. The skin won’t slip down none and the leg won’t go straight enough for it to go back into the skin. I don’t even know if I should wrap it with the bone out?
