My Bantam who is still skitish has an injury to her toe, it was healing but it looks like she reinjured it. I'm not able to handle her yet but planned to try and handle her after she roosts tonight. Is there anything I can do in the meantime other than keep her in coop?

Without pictures it's hard to say. Sometimes you don't really need to do anything, just depends on what the issue is. When you take her off the roost wrap her in a towel like a burrito if she's hard to handle, to help hold her wings in, laying her on her back may make her more calm, sometimes I put a lightweight cloth over their head also while on her back, that will calm them too, while you check her toe.

There is a slight gash across which looks like she may have caught it on wire. She does peck at it like it's hurting her. Thanks for the advice I'm going to try and catch her tonight and take a good look at it and spray it with Veterycin.
