Injured two day old chick

I’m so sorry to hear that, you really did so well, you should be proud of the care you were able to provide her with. Sometimes there is just more going on than we can see. She knew nothing but love and kindness in her last moments with you. And in return, she gave you the experience of raising chicks should you ever choose to.

:hugsWe understand the hurt, it isn’t silly. They’re here for such little time but take a huge part of us sometimes.

With great sadness, I write that Baby Chick crossed the rainbow this morning. Thank you all so much for the help. Even though she was with me for a couple of days, it hurt. I saved her from her mom the day I picked up the ashes of my pet. She had put a little smile in my broken heart. I never named her because I was afraid to. This morning, when I saw how fragile she was, I called her Chirpy. I really truly tried my hardest to save her. Some of you might think I'm overreacting, but I'm a very sensitive person. Again, thank you guys so much for everything.
I'm really sorry. Don't feel you're overreacting, we're all animal lovers here. You did a great job and made Chirpy's last days safe. You should feel proud that you gave her comfort.

So sorry for your loss, you did the best you could for her. :hugs
