Injured young hen

Can anyone tell me what the circled injury is? I had an attack last night and am trying to save her but this is making me wonder if I can. Please any help is appreciated.

I'm not certain, but if that is her crop, the merciful thing would be to dispatch her. I have seen significant skin lesions heal, but do not thing what I see there can be repaired. Sorry.

I will try and get a clearer photo, it's hard because it is just me but I think it was racoons. I had 7, lost 3, one barely killed and left behind, 2 completely gone and then the injured one. My other 3 and turkey weren't bothered at all.
