I would suggest doing little to nothing at this point. Monitor, make sure nobody's picking at it making it worse and let it heal. If it worsens, that would be the time to begin treatment. If you absolutely can't keep yourself from doing anything at this point you could cleanse it and apply a little triple antibiotic cream, but the more attention you draw to that area the more you increase the likelihood that others in the flock notice that area which then could potentially lead to picking
