She couldn't walk on it. Do I sosked for 15 min in Epsom salt and it's still hard.

How long do I soak it for to soften it up?

It can take anywhere from a couple days to a week just don’t get into a hurry. Soak try using your nail and peel up the scab but make sure the scab is ready and you don’t pull and tear healthy skin. I soak and apply clear iodine once you can get off the scab you may have to use tweezers to pull out the plug it’s going to be thick. Once you get the plug out fill with some type of antibiotic ointment then wrap,check in a few days to make sure you got all the plug. Keep clean til healed.

Can you stick here in your bathtub for a couple of hours? Plain water, no Epsom salt.

This is how this all started..I'm working on the run so the ducks are back in the bathroom. Last year they were in there nonissues. Last night? She couldn't get out of the bathtub apparently and was in bad shape this morning. I feel so guilty. I blew dry her and then brought her to work with me. She perked up quite a bit. She sat in my lap most if the day. Then I noticed this. She has not eaten but she is drinking water with electrolytes and had a few doses of Nutri drench.

Bottom line is I am afraid to put her back in the tub at this point. I feel like the worse duck owner there can be.,

So she is staying like this or has been for about 15 minutes. It's just plain water though because I dont want her to attempt to drink Epsom salt water.
