Injury on bottom of foot

So she is staying like this or has been for about 15 minutes. It's just plain water though because I dont want her to attempt to drink Epsom salt water.

Don’t feel bad..it’s happened to all of us..here’s the deal about the Epsom salts..put her in a bucket..if you’re worried..use cardboard..cut a whole so her head can fit through the top but not get back down to drink the water

Does look less swollen. Is the scab off?

No the scab is still there, that is what is not loosening up right now. The scab is still really hard.

Try after soaking to take a pair of tweezers and pick off the scab. Don't freak out if there is bleeding, if you can pick off the scab you maybe able to see the bumble underneath.

She has become very feisty today. Heck of a time trying to soak that foot. I'm going to work on the scab this weekend and hopefully I can succeed here. She has come to work with me everyday, tomorrow she has to stay home so I set up an area for her and hopefully it works.

I just ran and checked on her. She is standing up and getting around. I felt better seeing her moving around and quacking at me.

That’s great news!! Means what your doing is helping once you get that infection out she’ll heal pretty quick.

She was real loud this morning. It has shrunk considerably. I am going to do the soak, clear iodine, soak for the removal. Fingers crossed that works.
