My hen has black on her comb. I know a certain amount is normal wear and tear, but she a lot. I found one spot that looks like an injury, but I don't know what is going on with the rest. Her comb looks like it has some dry skin (the white). The sun is bringing it out a lot in the picture.
I'm still learning about chicken diseases and wasn't sure if this was the start of flock pox or something else. She is active, eating and moving around well.
