Oh I don’t mind having to do that. I’m just wondering if I soak her before if that will make it easier to remove.

With all that she has been through I would not soak her.

Annabelle is doing quite well this morning, thank God! She’s eating her feed and some cantaloupe I gave her, she’s drinking, resting some, and even preening herself!

Annabelle’s eggs are usually this size and sometimes a bit wider at the top and middle.

Here is the egg I pulled out of her yesterday:

Annabelle seems to be back to herself and wanting to rejoin the flock. However, I will keep her inside until she is making firm poops.

Well I guess she must be a mind reader because she just made 2 semi firm poops...on my carpet of course.
