I have 10 hens that have just begun laying. Each hen is a different breed. I would like to install a camera to record which hen is laying which egg. Has anyone found a good camera set up or have advice?
Thank you,

Arlo Pro. Use for my house and added a camera for the coupe. Its wireless. My coupe is like 50-60 feet from the corner of my house. Any farther the wifi for the camera probably would have trouble connecting.

Lots of good cams out there, but using one to find out who is laying which egg would be tricky and probably require hours of scrolling thru footage. You'd almost need a cam in every nest.
If your birds have just begun laying, checking pelvic points every time you see a new egg might work....help me narrow it down, but you really have to catch them in the act to be sure.

Alro Pro only records when it detects movement. Basically the only footage I have is of when the hens are laying.
My birds spend time in the coop other than when laying, they also will go in and out of nests before choosing one, they will also sit in a nest for a time then leave without laying.
It can be like Black Friday on the nest bank perch before any eggs are actually laid

Is your cam pointed so you can see inside the all of nests?
How many birds and nests do you have?
