installing a pc fan HELP

i have a 12v pc fan .22 amp i have a 12v phone wall adapter and when i spliced them together the fan will start to move then stop any ideas i was hoping to get them installed this weekend into a little giant and a hovabator

check your connections. a loose connection will make it start and stop. the vibrations shake it loose then you touch it and it makes the connection and starts again.

got both running i think i had a bad adapter ( came from goodwill) but finally lucked out and now have two running one in each incubator

This pc fan that everyone does...is there any instructions anywhere on how I do this? I am electrically challenged big time!! But I need to build a "hatcher", my incubator does not offer enough hatching space for the volume of eggs I incubate.

Can anyone help?
