Instead of spider like veins I keep getting...

I don't know why. You can see that something started growing, but there is just a bright red vein that makes a circle around the circumference of the egg a little ways down from the air cell. Is it dead? (I think it is) These are day 9... No temperature spikes, good humidity, haven't been messing with them a lot. I just don't know. Also it looks like the yolk goes into a thick line around the egg... I don't see a round yolk like normal, i see that line.

That looks like a blood ring. I think its a 'no-go'

I get them once in a while and never knew why.

Sorry, that one is dead. You're right that it did begin to develop and then quit. That red circle you're seeing is called a blood ring.

Any idea why they keep doing it? Last hatch they did it but my temp spiked, this time it hasn't. I have 3 thermometers in there and they all say 100...

Is it a still air or forced? If it's forced, your temps are right on track.. If it is still air, they are much too low!

I have My still air at 100 and so far i only have a few quitters, so i doubt that the case. Whats your humidity?

The humidity is about 55

Than Everything is fine in your incubator. Is it out of light and your turning it three times a day gently?

Mine are at 101 and the manufacturer suggested 100 for the still air I'm using. After everything that I've read, 102 is prime for a still air. I'm also curious about your humidity. I've got a couple that look a little similar to your. Not the yolk ring thingy, though. You keep getting a bunch like this? I've have about 3 but I'm chalking it up to bad shipping since I have a whole bunch that are alive and happy and wiggling around like crazy.
