On this thread, post # 7 has some pictures. I clicked on the first picture (and others) to enlarge it.

The images link to the member's private album, so unless they make the album public no users will be able to access the album.

Well, it depends on how the member posts the picture and what they link it to. If a member uploads a pic directly to the forum thread / post you will be able to click it and get a bigger one.

In this example the images link to a private album and the system respects the settings for that member's album. So, it all comes down to how the posting member sets up their links and their permissions.
