I just put some of this: Dow 1/2" x 8' x 4' R-3.3 Polyisocyanurate Rigid Foam Insulated Sheathing – up under the metal roof of my coop to avoid condensation.
One side of the insulation is blue, and the other side was reflective(silver). I am pretty sure that the silver side faces the metal roof with the blue side (with text) faces the inside of the coop.
Am I correct? I hope so, I already did it...

Good idea to add insulation below your roof! It does not matter which way you install unless you are putting it into an air space such as a wall. The silver toward the air space will give a small added R value. I would prefer looking at the blue if exposed on the ceiling.
