When is it a good time to start integrating/introducing my baby chicks with juveniles? Currently, I have 7-week old chicks and 2-week old chicks. I have them in separate brooders right next to each other so hopefully, the big ones can see and get used to the others being around, but not together yet.

These chicks are your only chickens? No adults?

What you are doing is the best way to integrate two different age groups since five weeks is much to wide an age spread at this age for them to be together safely. When the younger ones are around six weeks old, you may be able to ease them together, doing it gradually, a few minutes at first, increasing the together time each day until you see they are getting along.

Space is key in any integration so be sure you have plenty of space for them all.

Good start.
Is your coop ready yet?
Got power for the littles heater?
Can you set up a separation area out there?
How many birds are we talking about here?
