We have a duck whom was left alone due to a raccoon unfortunately taking away his best friend. He was sad after that and didn't want to eat or be with the chickens for about a week, but he is happy now and recovered from that terrible accident. We got 2 new baby ducks and we're not sure how well he will befriend them. The month old ducks are currently in a separated section in the run with 6 month old chicks. The adult duck's home is right next to the fence so he is able to get some face to face time. He does like to drink their water through the fence shamelessly. When and how can we go about introducing the ducks and have them in the same area? Any info is much appreciated!

If it is an adult drake, you need to keep them separate until your ducklings are old enough to accept mating if the other two are female. If they are drakelets, then separation is also recommended because an adult duck can kill ducklings.
Can they see each other?
