Integrating flock: laying hens eating medicated starter?

Total newbie question: I've successfully (so far) begin integrating two 8-9w RIRs with my three adult ladies (2 RIRs and 1 Buff Orpington). Right now my littles are on medicated chick starter and my bigs are on Freedom lay pellets. My bigs free range the majority of the time so don't eat much feed bit they find the medicated starter new and therefore irresistible. If they get into it are their eggs still safe?

I would give them some oyster shells for calcium, though. The big hens will eat as much as they need, the little ones should leave it alone.
