Well, I had noticed her behavior changing before I had even gotten the chicks. She was picking on one of the other hens she grew up with and had started pecking at me her pecking became biting me. The chicks was kind of the last straw.Sometimes, especially when the environment is changed it can make a difference. I notice it even when I move birds from one coop to another.
I'm now wondering how much she really was bothering them. We've been getting 6 out of 11 eggs for a while. I thought it was just the time of year and weather. Today we got 9 out of 10.always solve for peace in the flock.
