Integrating new ducks into the old flock.

Hi, I have 3F and 1M Rouen and 1F magpie. Just got Two more males and being a magpie and don't know what the other is. My ducks are 9 mth and the new one are 6 Mth, Right now they can only see and talk to each other. How do I integrating them>>>

Start by letting them all lose together while giving some kind of yummy treat. that way they are busy feeding tummies instead of picking on the new ones. But stay with them in case of problems, especially with your Rouens being so much bigger than the Magpies. if they can act okay try them together some doing this during the day time offering treats as incentive, before leaving them all together over night. sometimes it can happen in days some times longer especially when your introducing drakes.

another thing you may have to add more females to the mix to keep the ducks from being over bred.
