My one was way smaller than a king (button) quail egg.

No problem!

I’ve incubated Button/CP Quail before and I’d say the egg was about the same size or only the slightest bit bigger. Had no more tiny eggs, but my girls’ eggs seem small on a whole, with an average of 10g.
