Yes and no... In cats, I give it subcutaneously with a small bolus of fluids to help avoid the injection site problems that are sometimes seen with it. In birds, I almost always give it orally, but sometimes I'll give the first dose IM if the bird looks really sick.

You're welcome... Did you figure out how much you would dose an adult with? Bayer used to have a Baytril calculator, but I can't find it now. FWIW, my vet told me to give 15mg/kg once a day, either subcutaneously, or my mouth,

No, I haven't had time to weigh any of them, plus I haven't got any product yet. My cousin is a vet, but is on mat leave till next June, so I'll have to wait till then. So far Tylan is doing the job.
