Are not child abusers human? maybe I misread.

They didn't compare it to humans, you guys did.

An opinion is perfectly fine, but to present an opinion as a validated study doesn't seem quite appropriate, in my opinion.

You stated that you believe there are contradictory studies, fine, I would like to see them. I'm not asking for your credentials, I'm asking to see what you're basing your statement on so that I can read them too, and draw my own conclusions. Maybe I would agree with you, or maybe not.

So, if I quote Sigmund Freud as my go to guy on phsycoanalysis, then I'm legit? Or is it the newest and latest, which I must believe?

What you believe is up to you, but if you tell me that research shows that standing on your head for ten minutes every morning grows hair, then I would ask you to show me the studies. If you tell me that you feel that your hair is thicker since you've started standing on your head every morning, then good for you.

The government just dumped half a billion into the company, trying to push the "Green" agenda, and it has failed, because the whole concept, on a mass scale is a failure. The company was floundering, before the public money,[ your's and mine].

Too many times, some group of researchers come up with an idea, and then, try to make the research fit the desired end. The whole global warming scam was not about proving that the earth was warming up. It was about forcing everyone to reach into their pocket and pay a penance to some elite group, just for being human.

They knew that they couldn't prove it, beyond a doubt, so they falsified and twisted the numbers, to come up with the result they wanted.

Why should I put stock in any grant funded research? Once a liar, always a liar.

I wasn't asking for a political spin. Do you have any links to Solyndra's research that shows that they've drawn incorrect conclusions or had flawed data?

It failed, after a huge influx of public money.....It's a flawed concept. No political spin needed. Hydroelectric works, solar doesn't.....At least, not on my dime. If some venture capitalist wants to front his money to someone in a garage, and he finds the holy grail of solar electric, then, I'll root for him.

I don't need to post links on the subject to win the argument.

There are other factors in studies that are not as reliable when comparing something like hair growth causes compared to the complexity of human behavior studies. You would be exhausted if you read every aspect of some studies and I found that conclusion with my own study.

...and the link to HUMAN child abusers and the worth of whether the study has value to the study of human child abuse research. Like I said it always leads to more studies. Who funded this study? that would tell me alot.

Child abusers are human, but the study is about birds.

But wait, that's still a business question, not a science one.

Um, again... flawed logic.

For someone who supposedly isn't trolling, you certainly LOOK like you are. So if I were to say "In my studies of your posts, you are a troll", and you say "Show me the data!" I'd simply point to your previous posts in this thread. Look, data! Right there! Oh, wait. You have other posts outside of this thread which may contradict my study of your posts! But I shall IGNORE THEM and post the results ONLY USING DATA FROM THIS THREAD! Oh wait, that's not a peer-reviewed mechanism, and Royd can come up and say "Y u post this, u r rong", and he would be RIGHT.

This is where I roll my eyes and state that some people will never admit it when they aren't 110% correct, that this study was related to abuse in BIRDS and how it MIGHT have some future benefit on child abuse behavior in humans but that you guys are the ones attempting to humanize it, and that data is being drawn from this study BUT it is NOT the only study being used to harvest data.
