Interesting Behavior on Roost Recorded by Time-lapse Camera

I am having trouble creating a time-lapse series I can link to.

To put things in a nut shell, they move around a lot more than I thought. In trees they sit quietly. Within pens in the barn they stand up on roost in a rhythmic fashion. Movements appear synchronized.

Why?

As long as you're at at, how about a music track? The image of chickens bobbing up and down on the perch brings to mind calliope music.
