Interesting find inside of an egg... to me at least

Don't feel badly, it's not a baby bird.
You found a really tiny egg, and when we get these they al.ost never have yolks. That thing you see is a meat spot, totally harmless but odd looking.
These tiny eggs are so called fairy eggs.

I was confused because of the lack of yellowish yolk, and the white was extremely thick. Thank you for your answers! We both feel much better!
