We have a bunch of little silkies and we have a few with some interesting colouring and feathering. Has anyone else had any like these ? I didn’t get a chance to tag them to remember exactly which breeder they came from. I know one lady had show quality mixed together buff, partridge, white, blue, black and the other lady had paint coop and mixed colour coop as well black, blue, white and paint. But check these three out!

Pretty birds!😊
When silkies are kept in a mixed color pen, you can get all kinds of cool colors!
First one looks buff, second one looks cuckoo and the third is a blue satin. All look like pullets at this point, though I could not see the first ones face.🥰

Thank you! Little Lulu is the shy one that doesn’t like to be messed with too much she looks like a pullet too! The three buffs I have all look like roos though hehe one is was crowing at 8 weeks. I couldn’t stop laughing.

Aww they are lovely!

Hmm the first one is tricky and I really haven't seen anything exactly like it. The color kind of reminds me a bit of a red pyle but the darker feathers in the neck being so uniform don't really point to that. I don't know that much about the wheaten color but maybe that could be a possibility and being that some buffs are wheaten based you might get some interesting wheaten based colors when mixing certain buffs with other colors. I'm just throwing out guesses though, whatever the color is it sure is beautiful! :love

The second looks like a grey with red leakage to me. A lot of the time the red coming in on the wings indicates a male but not always and your little cutie is looking pretty pullet like at this point anyway. :)

The last little one definitely looks like a blue satin to me too.
